O Prémio MAPS Manuel N. Coutinho Voluntário de Destaque é apresentado anualmente a pessoas que seguiram o modelo exemplar do falecido Manuel N. Coutinho, Professor Voluntário de Aulas de Cidadania. O Sr. Coutinho ajudou a preparar membros das comunidades de Língua Portuguesa e outros imigrantes para a cidadania Americana no escritório da MAPS até o ano de 2002, e também foi voluntário com outros grupos da comunidade.
