Impaired Driving Program

Driving under the influence can have deadly consequences. As part of our commitment to building healthy, successful communities, we offer this educational program, in Portuguese and English, to drivers caught operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol and other drugs.

This is a 16-week, First Offender program for court-referred English and Portuguese-speaking drivers convicted of driving under the influence.

Classes: On Zoom or In-Person/ 6-8 pm Mondays for English speakers, 6-8 pm Tuesdays for Portuguese speakers

Cost: $1,342.56 Course fee

Intimate Partner Abuse Educational Program

Violence is often the last resort of men who can’t express their emotions and frustrations in a positive, constructive way. Education and support are key to changing attitudes.

This 40-week program teaches men how to stop engaging in abusive behavior against their partners/spouses by providing them with the tools to engage positively with their emotions.

Office Location: Somerville

Hours: Tuesdays, 6 to 8 pm

Cost: Sliding scale fee depending on weekly income + $100 administrative fee

Referrals: Court, DCF, self-referral, other professional referral

Primary Funding Sources: Client fees, Mass. Dept. of Public Health
