On Wednesday, September 30th we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. José Luis Carneiro, Portugal’s Secretary of State for the Communities, to our Cambridge Office. After meeting some of the seniors attending the MAPS Senior Center, the Portuguese official met with members of the MAPS Administration and congratulated the organization for the “quality and broad range of services MAPS provides”.

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss some of the challenges that the Portuguese community faces, and to plan possible solutions and future collaborations.
