This position provides assessment, case management and crisis intervention services for Portuguese speaking families and children at-risk for abuse and neglect. The primary responsibilities of this flexible position:
1. Treatment plan and assesses client needs, makes appropriate referrals to legal, medical, social and other services
2. Advocates and provides services in areas of child protection, mental health
3. Provides translation for assessment and treatment plan
4. In Home Therapy visits with clients in their homes or placements
5. Identifies resources for client referrals
6. Maintains client data and prepares reports
7. Participates in in-service training programs
8. Completes all documentation required for client files
9. Required to participate in organizational fundraisers
10. Maintain flexible work schedule that will include evening and weekend hours
Qualifications: BA degree in Social Work or related field required, experience in social and community services, Bilingual/Bicultural in Portuguese, and English. Start salary range commensurable with experience and education: $52,000 to $58,000, plus an excellent benefit package.
