It is with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Mrs. Virginia Simas. She was the recipient of the MAPS Mary & Manuel Roger Lifetime Community Service Award 2008, and she is the mother of Dorothy Chaves and grandmother of Mark and Philip Chaves.

The Chaves Family have been great supporters of the MAPS Citizenship program through their family foundation, and because of their long history of giving back to the community, MAPS is honoring them at the 2019 Awards Gala.
