The Massachusetts Alliance of Portuguese Speakers (MAPS) is inviting community members to attend its 2023 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, October 24th, from 6 pm to 8 pm on the second floor of the organization’s Cambridge office on 1046 Cambridge St. MAPS members and the public will have an opportunity to learn more about the health and social services organization’s accomplishments of the past fiscal.
The health and social services organization is also seeking nominations to its Board of Directors and encouraging its members to apply themselves or submit the names of other community members who might be interested in joining. MAPS members will also be asked to vote on the organization’s newly updated By-Laws, which, among other changes, include the elimination of individual and organizational memberships.

During the meeting, MAPS volunteers and staff members will receive certificates of appreciation to recognize their service to the organization and community, and refreshments and a light buffet dinner will be served.
